Scholarships for Saluda, North Carolina Residents 

For going to college, trade school, or continuing education

​General Information about our Scholarship Application

​This scholarship is open to all residents in the Saluda 28773 zip code who are furthering their education. Awards are based on academic record, intellectual promise, ambition, and leadership.

All Womens Club of Saluda scholarship awards start at $1000 and will be forwarded to the educational organization in the scholarship awardee’s name.​​​​

Once submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email. The scholarship committee may follow up by email if we have questions about your application.

How to apply

1. Gather your materials: transcript and SAT/ACT scores (if applicable), letters of recommendation, resume (if applicable) and a 300–500 word essay about your educational goals.

 

2. Fill out the appropriate application and attach your documents.  

 

3. Hear back from us. We notify all applicants by April 15 via the email on your application.

Scholarship Opportunities for Traditional and Non-Traditional Students 

Traditional Students

Open to high school seniors and college students who reside in Saluda (28773 zip code only) for tuition at either an accredited community college or a four-year college (university) while pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree.

Applications are due by 5 pm on September 25th. Please note: Application is open year-round but will only be awarded annually on April 15th.

Past scholarship recipients are encouraged to reapply.  

Non-Traditional Students

Open to Saluda (28773 zip code) residents seeking tuition assistance for additional career training, such as trade schools, certain internships, additional studies toward a career change, or an apprenticeship.​

Applications are due by 5 pm on April 1st. Please note: Application is open year-round but will only be awarded annually on April 15th. 

You will get an email confirming receipt of your application. If you did not get a confirmation email, please contact us.

Students attending online programs qualify for our scholarship as long as the providing institution is an accredited technical school or college.
